Presentation Overview

In-person Presenters:

  • You will give a 3-min presentation live during the assigned oral session.
  • You will present a poster during the assigned poster session following the oral session. 
    **Either print your own poster and bring it to the venue, or use our limited printing service described below.**
  • Each paper will be assigned a Slack channel for online and asynchronous discussion.

Remote Presenters:

  • Your pre-recorded 3-min video presentation will be played back during the oral session.
  • You will present a poster online during the poster session assigned according to your geographical location. A physical device in the poster session room will connect the online participants, including you, with the onsite visitors. The poster screen will be shared from the conference site, free to annotate remotely.
    **Either mail your own poster or request our printing service. See below.**
  • Each paper will be assigned a Slack channel for online and asynchronous discussion.

Deliverables

Poster

Please provide a poster that summarizes the key points of your paper. You will present your poster during the assigned poster session. The poster will also be made publicly available on MiniConf, our virtual conference platform. Unlike previous years, please prepare your poster in landscape orientation.

Remote proofing is unavailable, and the printing quality will be best-effort without guarantee. For high standards, please bring your own poster instead.

Please provide an image of an illustration, figure, or table that best represents the paper. The image will be used as a preview visual on MiniConf. Please see the 2025 MiniConf page for how it will be displayed.

Video Presentation

Please prepare a 3-minute video presentation for your paper. The video should summarize the main points of the paper and hopefully entice the viewer to read your paper or visit your poster. The video will be made publicly available on MiniConf and YouTube.

We recommend recording voice overs to a slideshow or slides with embedded video of the presenter. You might want to record the presentation on a virtual meeting platform such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams. Presentation programs such as Powerpoint can also be used to record slide presentations with voiceover.

Video Captions

To ensure accessibility, please provide a SubRip (SRT) caption for your uploaded video presentation. You may use YouTube's automatic captioning feature to generate the caption file. Please double-check and make sure the automatic transcriptions are accurate.

Fun Facts

Please optionally provide 1-3 fun facts about the authors and/or research. These fun facts will be shared on Slack during the oral sessions and the website easter egg to increase attendee engagement.

Examples:

Slides for Live Presentation

Please provide slides for the live presentation at the oral session. A PDF file is required for failsafe. You may additionally upload a Powerpoint file, a Keynote file, or a link to Google Slides in a TXT file (make sure to set the sharing settings to "Anyone with the link can view").
